Upcoming Program XChange Training Sessions
- Program XChange: Evaluation on a (Zero) Budget - February 20, 2017 at 7:30pm EST / 4:30pm PST | Register Now
Presenters: Erica Winegar and Sarah Crumrine from YNPN Twin Cities
We all recognize the value in obtaining genuine feedback from our members, but it may feel overwhelming. The good news? You don’t have to be an expert with a giant budget to implement useful surveys at your chapter! In 2015, YNPN Twin Cities relaunched event evaluations; we have also administered an annual Member Survey since 2010. The data gathered helps us create more meaningful programming as well as strengthens our relationship with members and volunteers. Walk away from this presentation with an understanding of what it takes in terms of time and resources to launch your own evaluations program, a reinforced understanding of why it's important to have evaluations and systems in place, and the ability to replicate or refine our evaluation systems and apply them to your own organization.
Erica Winegar is a board alumna for YNPN-TC. During her term on the board, she served as the Secretary for the organization and she enjoyed volunteering with the Programming Committee. Erica is the Communications & Administration Coordinator at the Lupus Foundation of Minnesota, an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to research, education and awareness of lupus, as well as supporting those impacted by the chronic autoimmune disease. Erica also served on the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Eden Prairie Library, one of the local Friends groups which supports all 41 of the Hennepin County libraries. She holds a B.A. in English and Spanish from the College of Saint Benedict. To balance her work life, Erica loves playing with and taking pictures of her nearly one-year old son.
Sarah Crumrine is in her third year on the Board of Directors for YNPN-TC and is currently serving as the Vice Chair. She also served as the Communications Chair for two years. Outside of YNPN, Sarah is the Communications Coordinator at the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, the largest state association of nonprofits in the United States. Previously, she was the Special Events Associate at Bridging. In addition to events, Sarah is also incredibly passionate about marketing and communications. She got her B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication with a minor in Social Justice from the University of Minnesota in 2012 and studied global social policy for a semester at the University of Edinburgh. Outside of work, Sarah volunteers with Make-A-Wish Minnesota and Gilda's Club Twin Cities.
