Join our Think Tanks on transparency and network decision-making
Over the last year we've been having critical discussions on the future of Chapter Congress and how we can increase transparency between chapters and National as we become more closely affiliated.
To further advance that work, we're piloting a new kind of working group that will allow chapter leader, staff, and National Board members to work together to develop concrete proposals for how the work of the network is conducted. We're calling them Think Tanks, although they're really Think and Do Tanks. These groups will conduct background research into an issue and possible solutions, draft proposals, and present those proposals for review from other chapter leaders on our Chapter Congress calls.
We're looking for chapter leaders to join two Think Tanks on the issues of network decision-making and transparency & feedback between chapters and National. These groups will kick off their work in February 2016 and we anticipate that the group's work will conclude in November 2016.
If you're interested in participating in one of these Think Tanks, please reach out to Co-ED Jamie Smith at email@example.com.
