Equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) are essential values in YNPN's work with our members and within our chapters. Fortunately, there are many resources out there to help chapter leaders advance EDI in their chapters and community.

The YNPN National staff is continuously working to curate the from the vast universe of resources available to highlight resources and tools that will be particularly useful to chapter leaders. You can find resources related to EDI in the resource library

We are also working to develop original resources for our chapters. Chapter leaders have identified the following priorities and we've developed YNPN-specific guides on those topics:

  1. Before You Get Started - Working with an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Lens
  2. Making the case for EDI to your board
  3. Growing diverse and inclusive leadership
  4. Ensuring programming and events are diverse and inclusive
  5. Growing a diverse and inclusive membership

These resources are part of a framework that will help move YNPN chapters from values to practice around EDI. Recognizing that different chapters will be at different levels in advancing EDI, this framework lays out specific actions chapters can take, and can help chapters see where they are at and how they can advance their own local work on EDI.
