Since 2007, YNPN Chapter Leaders from across the country have been meeting to hone their leadership skills, share knowledge, and build relationships with other like-minded young nonprofit professionals from across the country.
The National Conference and Leaders Institute includes both professional development and networking:
National Conference: Professional development is open to members of the local community in which the conference is being hosted and for the first time this year, also open to any YNPN member to attend. The National Conference programming focuses broadly on the skills that emerging leaders need to be effective social changemakers.
Leaders Institute: The Leaders Institute is only open to YNPN chapter leaders. This includes our State of the Network address, Chapter Roll Call, and sessions presented by chapter leaders on programs and facets of chapter operations.
Every year the conference is co-hosted by a local chapter. Past conference hosts and themes have included:

The 2017 National Conference & Leaders Institute: Leading through Change will be in Atlanta, Georgia! The conference will be held Friday, August 11 to Monday, August 14 at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. For the detailed schedule and registration once that information is released, visit our conference site.
Please note this year the Leaders Institute will be a pre-conference program held on Saturday, August 12 to Sunday, August 13 with a Welcome Reception on Friday, August 11. The professional development programming will begin on the afternoon of Sunday, August 13 and conclude at the end of the day on Monday, August 14.
Chapters are invited to apply to present at the 2017 conference. Share your knowledge on any topics relevant to YNPN chapter leadership! This year we're especially interested in sessions on the following topics: equity, diversity, and inclusion; making the most of NationBuilder's features; leadership development models and initiatives; and network engagement.
