Here to Save the Day: NationBuilder Technical Assistance Hours
Hello, lovely chapters!
Jessica and Katie, your NationBuilder Integration Coordination (NIC) gurus, here. If you couldn’t guess already from the many times we’ve said it before, we are so amped to guide YNPN Chapters through the exciting, mission-supportive task of building out your NationBuilder website and database. We’re really thrilled by what NationBuilder has done for our own chapters, love what the Pilot Chapters have already done, and we can’t wait to see what you do with all the nifty tools.
These websites will end up having diverse functions and user experiences that are indicative of your own Chapter’s culture and mission, and we’ve had a lot of fun already helping guide you through the process of thinking about how it will all add up.
Speaking of making it all add up, we’re setting aside times where we’ll focus on you, your chapter, and what you need to make the most of your NationBuilder onboarding experience.
What We’ve Covered Already

How We’ll Continue to Help
Starting this Sunday, June 28, your NIC will be available for one-on-one Technical Assistance (TA) hours. These are designated blocks of time that we will be available to answer your more complex questions and walk you through any challenges you might be having while setting up your Nation or working with your data.
Jess will be serving as the West Coast Technical Assistant and will be available from 5 p.m.-7p.m. PST on Tuesdays and Thursday.
Katie will be serving as the East Coast Technical Assistant and will be available from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. EST on Sundays and Wednesdays.

If you have a question that’s pressing and can’t be around for TA hours, no sweat! Feel free to email us at any time and we can work out a time to work with you one-on-one.
Requests for assistance will be met on a first come, first served basis, so please be patient with us during those times while we make sure everyone’s questions are answered. We’ll aim to spend about 30 minutes at a time with Chapters who have questions.
In order for us to provide the best assistance possible for you, we will be using Google Hangouts during TA hours. Google Hangouts come equipped with Screen Share capabilities that will allow NICs either to see your challenge first-hand or to walk you through tasks step-by-step that you need help with. If you don’t have a Google account, we can also accommodate Skype calls.
